Introduction to the academic department
In the modern informatization society, there are strong trends of proliferation of smartphones, activation of wireless internet and new convergent IT services with IT-based mobile computing, cloud service, SNS and big data related industry emerging as new paradigms. Major in information communication provides practical affairs-oriented education for creation of the value of uses through linkage among people, technology and industry as well as fortifying the competitiveness in IT area through linkage with regional industry in the wired and wireless network area that forms the foundation for mobile computing or cloud service in alignment with such trends. In addition, we are providing education in order for the students to enable them to play the role of professional engineers in the next generation information communication area equipped with global mindset by operating Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP) of a global corporation, CISCO Systems.
