Introduction to the academic department
Mechatronics Engineering Department is aimed at nurturing mechatronics specialists who sincerely designs and operates automation system. Mechatronics is a combined word of mechanics and electronics, and is a convergent-type practical study that includes hardware in mechanical and electronics areas and the software of programming area for the operations thereof. Students will learn basic theories including dynamics and electronic circuit, etc. as well as application technologies for use of sensor and actuator in order to nurture practical capabilities to design and utilize automation system by using CAD (computer-aided design), PLC (programmable logic controller) and MCU (micro-controller unit). Graduates will enter the automation area for execution of tasks such as automation instrument design, PLC control and micro-controller control, etc.

Mechatronics Engineering Department is aimed at nurturing mechatronics specialists with integrity capable of designing and operating automation system by teaching basic theories in the areas of machine, control and electronics, specialized knowledge CAD (computer-aided design), PLC (programmable logic controller) and MCU (micro-controller unit) to cultivate ability of students for practical affairs through provision of relevant experiments and practicum.
