Introduction to University Symbol

If the means contained in the University Symbol, the shield-type contains the symbols for justice and freedom, as well as religious meaning.This had already been used as symbolic crest to illustrate the prestige, authority and self-esteem of schools even prior to the medieval times.University Symbol of our school is designed in shield type to demonstrate the intention of the University to protect justice and freedom as well as to maintain the traditions on the foundation of the noble ideologies of Christianity.

Spirit of services to others is illustrated through the design with configuration symbolizing hands around Y, the head letter of Yuhan.

Forsythia is characterized by its tenacious ability to sustain life by extending its roots at anywhere and when its petals form a beautiful cluster of flowers when bundled up together although each petal may be insignificant. As such, it symbolizes the desire of the school for the students to rely on and assist each other, and to think and consider others ahead of oneself.
