Introduction to the academic department
Occupations in the area of machines are also diversified and can be classified into design, manufacturing, operation and repair, maintenance and technology sales, etc. Our academic department is focusing mainly on nurturing the ability to be in charge of mechanical design works.
Therefore, it is aimed to nurture professional engineers to make contributions towards the improvement of product and facility development, design and productivity, etc. at industrial sites by learning not only the basic knowledge in overall aspects of mechanical design but also theories and practical knowledge on design technology and drawing techniques, and manufacturing and control technologies, etc. required in designing various products, which personnel in charge of design works ought to be equipped with.In order to accomplish such educational goals, our academic department is providing education for improvement of theoretical and practical capabilities by equipping ourselves not only equipment and materials for basic experimental and practicum for the overall aspects of mechanical design but also equipment, materials, cutting-edge measurement and testing equipment for acquisition of computer aided design and manufacturing equipment.
