Yuhan University is where the spirits of Dr. Yoo Il Han thrives.
Dr. Yoo Il Han is the most respected entrepreneur as the founder of Yuhan Corporation, independence activist and educator. Dr. Yoo left the ‘Yuhan Spirits’ of honesty, integrity and sharing through transparent management of the corporation and returning all of his assets to the society. In succeeding his noble ideologies underlying the establishment of the Yuhan University as the founder, it has been producing competent persons with outstanding ‘integrity’ who have thoroughly experienced the academic traditions and concepts of talents of Yuhan since its foundation in 1977.
Creative challenges and innovation of Yuhan University continue on.
For the realization of the vision of ‘practical affairs-oriented university' for creation of the values for the use through linkage among people, technology and industry, Yuhan University is taking up challenges and undergoing innovations ceaselessly. Under the mid to long-term development plan of [Yuhan Vision 2023], it is equipped with the unique systematic educational system for cultivation of 4C (collaboration, creativity, credential and challenge) competent persons through 'TRUST education certification' only of Yuhan. Moreover, it is further improving the quality and depth of education by creatively grafting iversified financial support projects of the government including college innovation support project (autonomy agreement type 1 and study-later leading type 3, socially customized type industry-academia collaboration leading college (LINC+), employment guarantee type integrated high school-college education (Uni-Tech) cultivation project and highly skilled work and study program (P-TECH) cultivation project, etc. to its educational system. In recognition of the aforementioned efforts, President Moon Jae-in visited our University to personally offer congratulatory address at the graduation ceremony in February 2019, thereby firming the status of Yuhan as an undisputed representative college of the Republic of Korea.

Super-intelligence and hyper-connectivity society that encompasses AI, IoT, virtual reality and big data, etc. that the 4th generation industrial revolution will bring is demanding university education to undergo extensive changes and generate new values. Accordingly, Yuhan University is putting in utmost efforts to nurture future convergence type competent persons appropriate for the new era. Our University is taking the lead and initiatives as the principal of innovation in drawing the blueprint for the future higher education including TRUST education 4.0 platform, smart learning factory, industry-academia collaboration innovation, specialization of region-based industrial areas with strengths for coexistence with local autonomous government and advancement as a university leading lifelong occupational education, etc. Yuhan University will put our utmost efforts to enable the students to grow as core competent persons capable of leading the future society through provision of education that puts foremost priority on students and creative convergent education among diversified academic disciplines, etc. Yuhan University promises brighter future for you.
