Nurture core competent persons of the country in electric power area by teaching basic theoretical knowledge and application knowledge in electrical engineering area, which is the core technology area in the era of smart grid.
Electric power facility area for designing, construction, supervision and maintenance of supply network for power generated by nuclear, hydro, thermal and renewable power plant to building, plant, railway, road and ports.
Electrical automatic control area, which is the core technology for completion of factory automation in the ear of Industry 4.0.
Support students to realize their dreams as electrical engineers by cultivating competencies in their major as core competent persons of the country in power supply area.
Educational goals
It is aimed at nurturing national industry-based core competent persons capable of executing practical affairs at industrial estates and creative economic companies in Gyeongin region by equipping themselves with capability to perform works in the area of mechatronics-based electrical automation control that converged machine, electricity, electronics and communications with electrical facility area, PLC and instrumental system control, which are the unique area of electrical engineering based on national legal engineer qualification along with electrical facility and electric power IT on the foundation of basic theories and technologies in electrical engineering
